The Indian television industry has been left reeling in shock and grief as talented actor Nitin Chauhan, best known for winning reality show Dadagiri 2, tragically passed away on Thursday in Mumbai. He was just 35 years old.
Colleagues and friends, including Sudeep Sahir and Sayantani Ghosh from his last show Tera Yaar Hoon Main, confirmed the devastating news, though details remain scarce. Nitin’s heartbroken father has rushed to Mumbai to collect his son’s mortal remains.
Sudeep Sahir took to Instagram to pay a heartfelt tribute, writing, “Rest in peace, buddy.” Vibhuti Thakur, who shared a fond memory with Nitin, expressed her deep sorrow, saying, “Rest in peace, my dear. Your passing leaves me shocked and saddened. I wish you had found the strength to overcome life’s challenges; your physical strength was only matched by your inner kindness.”
Born in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, Nitin’s rise to fame began with his triumphant win on Dadagiri 2. He went on to captivate audiences in shows like MTV’s Splitsvilla 5, Zindagi Dot Com, Crime Patrol, and Friends. His final appearance was in Tera Yaar Hoon Main (2022).
